Brewster? I barely touched her!

Jordana Brewster, the smokin’ hot actress (and Yale graduate) from The Fast and the Furious, is fêted on her 26th birthday at Bungalow 8. Throwing the party is a trio of ex-bankers turned rum makers—i.e., drunks—who have a new brand, Cabana CachaÇa, hitting the market in June and who invited all sorts of fancy surnames like Roosevelt and Chantecaille. Expect caipirinhas and social panting. Meanwhile, Streisand and Clinton pal designer Donna Karan shows up at her alma mater, the Parsons School of Design, for a discussion of what’s happening in fashion (no word if Project Runway’s hunky Tim Gunn will show). And finally, there’s Voices Behind the Scenes, a panel of leading voice-over artists, including that guy who does just about every movie trailer you’ve ever heard, Don LaFontaine. Hosting the seminar and post-chat cocktails is the author of Secrets of Voice-Over Success: Top Voice-Over Actors Reveal How They Did It, Joan Baker, and that red-haired maniac from Letterman, Alan Kalter, who’s been getting a lot of airtime of late.
